The Sebastian Says Cactus Silk Dog Beds are lovingly handmade by women in Marrakech from 100% vegan materials. The Saharan aloe vera cactus (part of the agave family) provides the natural fibres to make this plant-derived silk. This fabric is known for its strength and quality and has been made with the same process for centuries by crushing cactus leaves, then washing and hammering the fibers, which are then woven into thread and dyed using vegetable dyes. Each bed has unique traditional symbols into the design.
